How to Delete Your Account
To delete your ChalloTech account, follow these steps:
- Open the ChalloTech app on your device
- Tap on your profile icon in the bottom right corner
- Navigate to "Settings"
- Scroll down and tap on "Delete Account"
- Review the information about data deletion
- Select "Proceed with Account Deletion"
- Enter your password to confirm
- Tap "Delete My Account"
Selective Data Deletion Options
Before deleting your entire account, you can choose to delete specific categories of data while keeping your account active. The following selective deletion options are available:
- Repair History: Delete all past repair records and associated data
- Order History: Delete records of past purchases and orders
- Saved Addresses: Remove all addresses saved to your account
- Notification History: Clear all past notifications and message records
To access these options, go to Settings > Privacy & Data > Manage My Data.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Account credentials (username, password, email)
- Profile information and user preferences
- Saved payment methods
- Device information
- Repair requests in progress (if any)
- Reward points and loyalty information
- Notification preferences
Data Retention and Anonymization
For legal and business purposes, certain data will be anonymized and retained even after account deletion:
- Order and transaction history: Anonymized records of purchases and payments are retained for financial reporting requirements (7 years)
- Repair history: Anonymized repair records may be retained for quality improvement and warranty purposes (3 years)
- Customer service interactions: Anonymized records of customer service queries may be retained for service improvement (2 years)
Anonymized data cannot be linked back to you as an individual and is used only for aggregate analysis.
Confirmation and Processing Time
After you request account deletion:
- You will receive a confirmation email
- Account deletion will be processed immediately
- Your account will be deactivated and inaccessible
- You have 14 days to reverse the deletion by contacting customer support
- After 14 days, the deletion becomes permanent and cannot be reversed
Cancellation Window
ChalloTech provides a 14-day window during which you can cancel your account deletion request:
- During this period, your account remains deactivated but not permanently deleted
- To reverse the deletion, contact our customer support team with your account details
- After verification, your account will be restored to its previous state
- Once the 14-day period has passed, we cannot recover your account information
