Account Deletion Guide

Complete Account Deletion
If you wish to completely delete your ChalloTech account and all associated data, follow these detailed steps:
Step 1: Access Account Settings
- Open the ChalloTech app on your device
- Tap on your profile icon located in the top left corner of the screen
- Select "Settings" from the menu
Step 2: Navigate to Privacy
- In Settings, scroll down to find "Privacy"
- Tap on "Privacy"
- You'll find options from asking for a data export, deletion of specific data, and more
Step 3: Select Delete Account
- In the Settings screen, scroll to the bottom part, Account
- Tap on "Delete My Account" (highlighted in red)
- Review the information about what will happen to your data
Step 4: Confirm Deletion
- Tap "Delete My Account" button by clicking the button
Step 5: Final Confirmation
- After tapping "Delete My Account," a final confirmation dialog will appear
- Tap "Yes, Delete My Account" to complete the process
- You will receive a confirmation email at your registered email address
Selective Data Deletion
If you prefer to delete only specific categories of data while keeping your account active, follow these steps:
Step 1: Access Privacy Settings
- Open the ChalloTech app on your device
- Tap on your profile icon in the top left corner
- Tap on "Settings"
Step 2: Delete Speciifc Data
Choose the category of data you want to delete:
- Repair History
Deletes all records of past repairs, including repair status, technician notes, and repair tickets.
- Order History
Deletes records of past purchases, including order details, products ordered, and delivery information.
- Saved Addresses
Removes all addresses saved to your account, including home, work, and other saved locations.
- Notification History
Clears all past notifications, messages, and communication records.
Step 4: Confirm Deletion
- After selecting a data category, tap "Delete Selected Data"
- Review the information about what will be deleted
- Toggle the confirmation switch to acknowledge this action is permanent
- Tap "Confirm Deletion"
Important: Once confirmed, selective data deletion cannot be undone, and the deleted information cannot be recovered.
Data Export
Before deleting your account or specific data, you may want to export a copy of your information. Here's how:
Step 1: Access Data Export
- Open the ChalloTech app on your device
- Tap on your profile icon in the top left corner
- Tap on "Settings"
- Navigate to the bottom part of the screen, Privacy
Step 3: Request Export
- After selecting export my data, tap "Confirm"
Note: Data exports are prepared within 7 days. You will receive an email with a secure download link when your export is ready. The link will be valid for 48 hours.
